Michelle Savoy-Jones,

Chief Visionary Officer 

 

With more than two decades of accounting and business experience, Michelle has developed a sharp eye for how businesses get bloated with inefficiencies, cross-purposes, lack of financial focus — and how they can retool for a sleeker, smoother, strategically focused organization. As an entrepreneur who quickly built her own successful business, she also empathetically helps other business owners set priorities and create the balance they want between life and work.

​She is a leading expert on solving individual and small business tax problems.  Michelle has successfully settled Offers in Compromise (IRS settlements) saving clients high percentages of their outstanding tax bill.  She has saved her clients thousands of dollars and resolved tax resolution cases since 1999.

Her relentless focus on professional development and relationship building has earned Savoy the Southwest Valley Chamber of Commerce 2015 Small Business of the Year Award.    Among her many accomplishments are IRS Enrolled Agent license, BBB A+ rating for accredited business, Savoy Enrolled Agent Academy (has 100% student pass rate), and the Savoy Career Investment (mentorship) Program.​

Dr. Carla Rutley,

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Marketing Manager

Dr. Carla Rutley -Executive Assistant and Marketing Manager. Carla brings over 30 years of hands-on marketing and entrepreneurship experience working to grow and brand small to midsize companies. Additionally, Dr. Rutley is Professor teaching business marketing at several colleges throughout the United States. 

 

Carla was drawn to Savoy Bookkeeping and Taxes because of the “growth-focused accounting and tax practices. “At Savoy, clients have a team of seasoned professionals who thrive on helping businesses and individuals prosper.”

Gabby Pantoja

Account Concierge Specialist

Gabriela has a bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis in communications from W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Additionally, she earned an Associate Degree in Accounting and an Associate Degree in Business Administration.

 

Gabriela brings several years of experience with Bookkeeping, accounting, and tax preparation and was with Savoy Bookkeeping and Tax Services in 2014 before relocating out of state. We are thrilled she has returned! Gabriela states “What I admire the most about Michelle is the goals and visions she has not only for herself and her business but also her clients. She always encourages growth in people. I am excited to be part of the Savoy team again.”

Ruqayyah Archie, Director of Taxation

Ruqayyah Archie, MBA, MAcc is a doctoral candidate in Business Management specializing in Accounting. Ms. Archie currently holds a Master's in Accounting and a Master’s in Business Administration. She is an Accounting Professor at the Community College of Philadelphia and has taught a variety of college-level accounting courses. Additionally, she is a QuickBooks Pro Advisor and is proficient in various accounting software programs. Ms. Archie has taught Federal Taxation for the past seven years and has prepared individual and business tax returns for over ten years. She is capable of fulfilling all of your accounting needs including tax preparation, financial statement preparation, and bookkeeping.  

Stephanie Origlia,

Bookkeeper

Stephanie has mentored and also works with her father who specializes in small business consulting and tax preparations for contractors.  She is currently attending Southern New Hampshire University to earn a Bachelor’s in Accounting.  “I am very excited and optimistic about being on this team because Michelle is SUPER knowledgeable, and I can definitely learn a lot from her”. Stephanie enjoys working with numbers, spending time with family, and trying out new recipes.
